Opera in prima tela.
Ad un primo esame si nota una traccia di ceralacca una sulla tela ed una sul telaio con iscrizion Dazio Grande di Milano.
Si nota un piccolo sollevamento di pigmento nel cielo a cm 5 dal cappello del fanciullo; piccole cadute di materia nell'angolo superiore destro ed inferiore sinistro (una di cm 1 x 0.5 circa e l'altra di cm 2 x 0.5 circa). Si evidenzia la presenza di due minuscole abrasioni una al centro del lato destro e una nell'angolo inferiore destro; cadute puntiformi al centro del lato sinistro.
L'esame alla lampada di Wood evidenzia 4 ritocchi sul cielo in alto a destra (il maggiore cm 1 x 4 circa a coprire una perdita minore), alcuni ritocchi nell'angolo superiore destro.
Si evidenzia della vernice fluorescente disomogeneamente distribuita sulla superficie.
Si consiglia un'attenta pulitura.
L'opera si presenta in buono stato di conservazione.

Froma first hand inspection there are traces of sealing wax on the rever and the loom inscribed: Dazio Grande di Milano.
A small detach in the sky (cm 5 from the hat); small losses in the up right hand side and lower left hand side corners (cm 1 x 0.5 circa and cm 2 x 0.5 circa). Two small abrasions are visible in the center of the right hand side edge and lower corner; tiny losses in center of the left hand isde edge.
The ultra violet light reveals 4 small retouches in the top right hand side corner and fluorescent varnish dishomogeneously spread over the surface.
A carful cleansing is suggested.
The overall condition as to the state of preservation is good.
