The rare complete set of nine woodcuts, 1918, with the woodcut title-page and table of contents, each signed in pencil, from the edition of 75, on Van Gelder laid paper, published by Kurt Wolff Verlag, Munich
Condition
The full sheets some with deckle edges. The impressions are generally printing richly with strong contrasts. The sheets are in good condition apart from mount-staining to two works. Paper discoloration to the margins of the other sheets, particularly at the edges. Creases and small areas of cockling to the edges of some sheets. Occasional fox marks to margins. The works hinged to the backboards at intervals verso, in some places there are pressure marks visible recto associated with the hinging. Other minor loses and defects at the edges of the sheets.
