Condition
STRUCTURE
The canvas has been lined.
PAINT SURFACE
The painting appears to be in good condition. There are no apparent damages or loss of paint. There is an old, dirty varnish overall. It should be noted that the illustration in the catalogue is too green in the light pigments of the dog's coat, particularly in the legs.
ULTRAVIOLET
Examination under ultraviolet light confirms the opacity and discolouration of the varnish. There is no apparent retouching visible.

Held in a black and gold painted wooden frame.
