  • Red chalk and wash within brown ink framing lines (recto);
    pen and brown ink and grey wash over red chalk (verso);
    bears lettering in pencil, verso: Ch ; Coll

Condition

Sold window-mounted in double-sided simple modern frame. Some slight foxing at the lower left corner, where there is also a small light stain crossing over the border of the drawing onto the old mount. Slight foxing also on the verso. Some scattered ink stains at the centre right. Some of the ink from the verso is also slightly visible at the centre. Overall, however, the condition is fine and the medium strong.
