STRUCTURE
The canvas has been lined.
PAINT SURFACE
The painting appears to be in very good condition, with no apparent damage or loss of paint. The paint is quite thinly applied in the lower section of the costume.
ULTRAVIOLET
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals some very minor scattered retouching in the flesh tones, but no other apparent signs of recent retouching.
FRAME
Held in a gilded wooden frame, with moulded motifs in the corners.
