Dutch School, late 18th century

The single panel was formerly bevelled along the lower and left edges, but has had the reverse shaved down, but not reduced to the recto. The paint surface is secure and under a yellowed varnish. Inspection under UV light reveals scattered retouchings which are not obtrusive. The painting would benefit from a clean but is overall in good condition. Offered in a wood and plaster frame which is structurally sounds with some paint losses.
