The painting has a firm lining.
PAINT SURFACE
The painting appears to be in good condition, with no apparent loss or damage.
ULTRAVIOLET
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals minor retouching in the background in the lower right, and to the horse's neck.
FRAME
Held in a gilded wooden frame.
