Condition

The canvas has an old but still effective relining. A horizontal seam runs along the canvas 20 cm from the upper edge. The paint surface is secure but has become flattened and somewhat abraded. Inspction under UV light reveals some scattered retouchings along the seam, in some fo the darker areas and lower centre around the figures. Offered in a carved wood frame with some chips.
