Condition

In generally good condition. The canvas is lined. The surface is pressed and thin in some areas especillly in the areas with figures, some light craquelure throughout. An old resportation has cracked at lower center and and there is some associated pigment loss which is visable in the photo. Ther are also two small areas of loss and cracking in the lower right hand corner, old repairs and cracking along the right edge. There are a few minor abrasions seen in raking light and some light frame abrasion. UV: Strengthening to the niche at lower left, two columns at right, spots in portions of the background at right. The sky at upper left repainted.
