Panel appears in generally good condition. Picture surface is generally good although there is cracquelure throughout, most noticeable in the black passages. Under UV there is evidence of repair to vertical splits in the panel. There is scattered inpainting especially on the figure of St. John and the sleeve of the Virgin. Possible other inpainting to Virgin's face.
