Wear consistent with age and use within the culture : old break repaired running along the proper left side of the face; losses to the top of the head and to the edge; the proper left side of the lips is restored. On the back, the bottom of the chin is broken and glued.

Catalogue Note
L'usure, tant sur la face externe qu'interne, et la profondeur de la patine attestent la grande ancienneté de ce masque. La prédominance du style Dan méridional se lit dans la nervure médiane et dans l'expressivité de la bouche ouverte sur des dents limées. Traces de patine sacrificielle sur le haut du front.
