Condition

Good condition overall. Wear consistent with age and use within the culture (a few small chips). Haliotis shell eyes to the tiki figure and one shell eye to the tiki head at the base.

patu wahaika, dont la surface et le tiki sculpté en haut-relief sur le fil sont entièrement ornés de motifs spiralés, profondément gravés. Elle a conservé, sur le pommeau, son étiquette de la collection Harry Geoffrey Beasley, mentionnant "Beasley Collection. N.Z. Wahaika, n°516". Patine d'usage brune, brillante.
