the two-bar autograph quotation from the beginning of Symphony No.10 in E minor, notated in ink on a hand-drawn stave, on the verso of Raeburn's printed business card (8.9 x 4.7cms, ), with 2 black-and-white photographs of Shostakovich with Raeburn, 24.4 x 18cms, [Vienna, mid 1950s?]; Britten's letters, written on postcards, signed ("Ben"), are about his recordings of the Cello Suite with Rostropovich ("...What a miracle he is!...") and of Schumann's Scenes from Faust, remarking on the "fraught" recording sessions for Faust and mentioning Solti, 5 pages, oblong 8vo, autograph envelopes (with letters by Peter Pears and Bliss), Aldeburgh, 1966-1972-- together with a page of "Troilus & Cressida" signed by Walton and Raeburn's autograph book containing entries by Flagstad, Monteux, Serafin, Solti, Knappertsbusch, Fischer-Dieskau, Ghiaurov, Pavarotti, Bergonzi, Berganza and others, 64 pages, 8vo, red calf, 1958-1970
