Catalogue Note
Rare. Autograph manuscripts of the Austrian composer and conductor Emil Nikolaus von Reznicek (1860-1945) are very rare at auction, not least because Reznicek's autographs were confiscated by the German authorities during the war and may of them were subsequently lost. The present manuscript, however, was presented by the composer in 1930 to the great organ virtuoso Walter Fischer.
