Description

  • Autograph letter, apparently to the artist Angiolino Tommasi ("Caro Angiolino"), signed ("GPuccini")
  • ink on paper
describing La rondine as his best work, despite its lack of commercial success, and that he only likes his other operas because they allow him to live well ( "...Il Trittico mi fa schifo..."), reporting that Turandot is "asleep" (awaiting the text of Act 3), and complaining that his motor boat has arrived but he cannot use it, and about his various medical complaints, including feeling pebbles under his skin,  2 pages, 4to (27 x 21cms), printed stationery, Viareggio, 25 July 1922
