a working manuscript, notated in piano score in brown ink on up to six two-stave systems per page, comprising three complete musical numbers and an introduction, some passages indicated only by means of numbers or letters, with a number of cancellations and corrections, 7 pages, plus one blank, oblong 4to (26.7 x 36cm), 12-stave paper, later pencil annotations to first page ("...La Belle Hélène..."), no place or date, leaves of outer bifolium detached, dust-staining to outer sides, splitting along central vertical crease
