notated in brown ink by a single unidentifed scribe on one 12-stave system per page, scored for strings, flute, 2 oboes, 2 bassoons, 2 horns, 2 trumpets and drums, entitled 'Sinfonie de Mozard' on the blank first page, some later pencil and ink annotations, 94 pages, small oblong 4to (20.8 x 30cm), apparently no watermark, nineteenth-century marbled card wrappers, no place or date, [apparently early nineteenth century] upper cover detached, lower cover becoming detached, some gatherings detached, damp-staining to gutter with some paper loss affecting text
