Rhetoric held a central position in Ramus's teachings; writers such as Cicero demonstrated the correct use of logic which he considered had been forgotten or perverted by Aristotelian scholars.
rare: there is no copy of this edition listed in French libraries by CCFr, reflecting Ramus's troubled relationship with the authorities at the time (he was banned from teaching by François I in 1543).
