Günther Zainer was the first printer in Augsburg, where he started work in March 1468; it is thought that he had previously worked for Johann Mentelin in Strassburg. This popular text on the obligations of the various religious and secular stations of man, by the recently deceased Rodrigo, bishop of Zamora (1404-1470), was first printed by Sweynheym and Pannartz in 1468.

On [f]8v the last line of text was initially dropped by the compositor but subsequently added in print in its correct place.

The extracted works, as listed in the title label, seem to have been a treatise on superstition and divination and Franciscus de Maioranis's Tractatus de indulgentiis (not listed in ISTC).
