Autograph working manuscript of Adam lay ibounden Op.126 for solo cello and double choir. signed ("Giles Swayne"), written for St John's College Cambridge, notated in pencil on one nine-stave system per page, with additional working sketches on the lower staves (up to fourteen staves per page in all), with many deletions, additions, trials and revisions, marked up for performance in blue, purple, black and red inks, with choral and instrumental designations for two facing four-part groups and cello  ("Dec[ani] R", "Vc." and "Cant[oris] L" ) at the beginning, 13 pages, oblong folio (c.42 x 30cms), 18-stave paper, together with a copy of the printed edition by Gonzaga Music Ltd, no place, 6-7 September 2009, the leaves stapled for performance, vertical fold throughout
