The canvas is slightly wavy to the corners. There are several traces of threadlike and stable craquelures on the surface of the canvas, mostly by the corners and to the upper, left and right margins, and to the center of the work. In the center of the canvas there is also a dot of indentation with a small tissue patch on the reverse. No traces of retouching appear to be visible under UV light.
