Condition

The painting is in good condition, as is the silk, which has neither runs nor holes. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals no indication of retouching. There are some craquelures evident, particularly on areas where the paint layers are thicker, but no paint loss appears to be evident and the paint is in stable condition. The actual painting has a stronger yellow tone in reality.
