Catalogue Note

Yunizar seems to be moving to an extreme point on the opposite side. His works look impulsive, naïve like those by children, or even wild. This is true even though, in careful observation, Yunizar actually has a characteristic discipline of visual approach in the use of just simple visual elements: lines, scratches and textures to be the main components of his painting. Yunizar's aesthetic sensibility lies in his ability to find ways to present the various simple elements in rhythmic compositions. He always believes that beauty is obtainable from everything simple. Of the most importance are one's viewpoint and attitude in enjoying it, so he believes.
