à trois montants surmontés de têtes de béliers ; (Il s'agit d'une table de milieu transformée, les plateaux rapportés)

Condition

Originally a middle table cut in two consoles. top has been then replaced. Old restorations, chips and lifts on the frieze just below the top. Has expected, chips to the stained wood on the feet. Overall good condition.

Une table de milieu, autrefois chez Mallett and Son Ltd, est reproduite dans M. Jourdain  et F. Rose, English Furniture, The Georgian Period (1750-1830), Londres, 1953, p. 91. Cette table illustre vraisemblablement la structure d'origine de notre paire de consoles avant transformation.
