The illustration is too green which gives a greenish gilding. Much better in reality. Attractive model with a fine design. Crisp and fine chasing. The model is recorded, similar example in the Getty museum. The ormolu gilding has a good colour. Please note that they have been cleaned and the gilding is now very bright and shiny. They do not have their irons. As said model +++, good condition and cleaned.

On connait plusieurs exemplaires de ce modèle. Une paire se trouve au musée Getty de Los Angeles (vendue par Christie's à Londres le 24 juin 1971, lot 18). Une autre faisait partie de l'exposition à Copenhague, L'Art Français au XVIIIe siècle en 1935 et provenait du château de Hautefort.
