The shorter strand composed of 65 natural pearls measuring approximately 9.32 to 4.88 mm., completed by a clasp set with an old European-cut diamond weighing approximately 1.45 carats, and pear-shaped diamonds weighing approximately .60 carat, mounted in platinum, length 18½ inches, signed Cartier; the longer strand composed of 73 natural pearls measuring approximately 9.85 to 5.32 mm., completed by a clasp set with a marquise-shaped diamond weighing approximately 1.10 carats, mounted in platinum, length 21¾ inches, signed M & Co. for Marcus & Co.

Condition

Accompanied by GIA report no. 2125538640 stating that the shorter strand contains 64 natural pearls and 1 cultured pearl, saltwater. The pearls are a creamy rose color with strong overtones of pink and peach. Good luster and minor blemishing. Most are very slightly off-round, however the larger pearls are quite spherical. Diamonds are approximately I-J color and VS-I clarity. Signed Cartier on the rim of the largest diamond. Fitted with a safety closure. The string has stretched and should be restrung. Also accompanied by GIA report no. 2125538646 stating that the longer strand contains 65 natural pearls and 8 cultured pearls, saltwater. The pearls are a creamy golden color with strong overtones of pink and and green. Good luster, minor blemishing. Many of the pearls are very slightly to slightly off round. The diamond is approximately J color and I clarity. Signed M & Co. on reverse of male end of clasp. Fitted with a safety closure. In good condition. Please note that the necklaces are also accompanied by SSEF report no. 57801 stating that the shorter strand contains 64 natural pearls and 1 cultured pearl, saltwater; and SSEF report no. 57800 stating that the longer strand contains 65 natural pearls and 8 cultured pearls, saltwater.
