The graduated pair of platinum tubes centering three silver and gold elements set with an oval emerald weighing approximately 3.15 carats, and 2 oval green glass segments, set throughout with old European-cut, old mine, rose-cut, single-cut and scissor-cut diamonds weighing approximately 5.25 carats, internal circumference 6½ inches, unsigned.
Condition
Good condition with light nicking and scratching throughout. Set with 112 old European-, round-, old mine-, rose-, single- and French-cut diamonds, approximately G-K color, VS-I clarity. The central emerald-set plaque appears to be an element taken from a piece of 19th-century jewelry. The emerald is medium bluish green and moderately included. The flanking green paste elements appear to be modern and designed to match the centerpiece. The certificate of authenticity was issued by Ward Landrigan of Verdura, owner of the Belperron archives, in March 2010.
