Collet-set with cabochon sapphires weighing 124.71 carats, cabochon moonstones weighing 68.88 carats, cabochon opals weighing 34.26 carats, and round diamonds weighing 15.26 carats, length 120 inches.
Condition
45 sapphires, deep violetish blue of strong saturation, moderately to heavily included. 44 moonstones with bluish overtones and good adularescence. The translucent to opaque 88 opals have weak to strong play-of-color with greens, blues and reds predominating. A few have substantial chips. The illustration does not convey the play of color, contrast and life of the stones. 177 round diamonds, approximately H to I color, VS-SI clarity. Very well made and in good condition.
