The pendant composed of a baroque pearls measuring approximately 18.1 by 13.2 mm. and 15.4 by 14.2 mm., openwork plaques set with single-cut and rose-cut diamonds, the chain accented with seed pearls, length 23½ inches. With box signed J.B. Zerbino, Joyero, Sarandi, 391, Montevideo.
Condition
Set with 22 single-cut and rose-cut diamonds, 2 baroque pearls, and 10 seed pearls. Pearls are creamy white, medium luster both with flat backs, the top pearl with a slight yellowish discoloration only viewed from the side. The bottom pearl with discoloration on the back, both however are clear from view. Diamonds are approximately J to L color, SI to I clarity. Accompanied by GIA report # 2115870010 stating the pearls are natural, saltwater. One pearl measures 15.46 x 14.08 mm and is heavily worked indicating that the shape and surface have been significantly modified. The other pearl measures 18.13 x 13.25 x 12.25 mm and is partially drilled.
