Description
- Lacloche Frères, Paris
- diamond, mother of pearl, enamel, nephrite, platinum and gold
The carved nephrite frame, housing a black lacquer dial inlaid with mother of pearl, framed by patterned white enamel, the hands set with circular-cut diamonds, applied with Roman numerals set with rose-cut diamonds, manual winding movement, dial signed.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the nephrite plaque is of olive green colour with patches of black specks, typical greasy lustre. Rose-cut diamonds are tinted colour, with surface abrasions.
Condition: Please note we do not guarantee the movement, which is manual winding and is in working order at present. Case back and stand are of brass and have slight discolouration, not seen to the obverse. Both enamel frame and the lacquer dial have minor surface pits, not noticeable and generally in good condition. The key for time adjustment is missing. Signs of wear and surface abrasions to the metal, consistent with age, overall in good condition.
