Description

  • Van Cleef & Arpels
  • nephrite, rock crystal, onyx and gold
Composed of carved nephrite, embellished by a swan of textured gold, the wings of carved rock crystal, accented by an onyx-set beak, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold, signed and numbered 124271 S.A. Dimensions approximately 190 x 150 x 80mm.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the nephrite bowl is of translucent olive green colour with darker green veins and patches. There are some whitish inclusions and dark green and black spots commonly seen in green nephrite. Under close inspection, there is a fissure on the side of the bowl which does not affect the overall beauty of the bowl. The swan is intricately carved in gold, onyx and rock crystal in good condition. Condition: In good condition with some minor discoloration to the gold.
