Description

  • Sifen Chang
  • moonstone, diamond and gold
The brooch composed of cabochon moonstones, to a stylised openwork background set with brilliant-cut diamonds; and a pair of matching pendent earrings; moonstones and brilliant-cut diamonds altogether weighing 41.95 and 4.25 carats respectively; mounted in 18 karat white gold, signed. (2)

Condition

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the moonstones are colourless to slightly milky tone, with noticeable bluish sheen (adularescence) across the cabochons. Diamonds are about H to I colours, VS clarity. Chang Sifen is a practised Taiwan designer, and this moonstone suite comes from her latest "Dancing" series which artistically illustrates the movement of dancing girls. Condition: Karat white gold mounts, in mint condition.
