Description

  • Buddha approximately 37.38 x 35.81 x 9.36mm; Bi approximately 55.12 x 55.23 x 7.07mm.
The highly translucent jadeite of apple green celadon tone, carved as a seated laughing Buddha, with splashes of emerald green, surmounted by brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat white gold; and a translucent jadeite 'bi' of apple green colour of celadon tone with apple green, inscribed with 'zhao cai jin bao'(招財進寶)and 'fu'(褔)to the reverse, within a carved Chinese zodiac border, meaning to bring blessings and treasures each year, surmounted by a carnelian chalcedony bead, to a black cord. Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Jade Testing certificates, the jadeites are natural, A Jade. Please refer to the report for details. The Buddha is of a translucent celadon tone with apple green and streaks of medium emerald green. Under close inspection ,there are natural white clouds and brownish spots. The diamonds are about G-H colour, VS clarity. The Bi is of a celadon tone with apple green, under illumination, there are some white clouds and a fissure on one side. The carnelian bead is of a brownish red colour. Condition: In very good condition.
