Description

  • Snuff bottles approximately 45.01 x 40.85 x 14.96mm, 49.33 x 50.61 x 12.82mm, and 48.18 x 39.40 x 13.75mm respectively.
The first of cushion form, carved with sprays of lingzhi ruyi, peony, raised with ruyi scrolls, of celadon tone with deep emerald green; the second of flattened square form with rounded shoulders, carved with pine, ruyis, a deer symbolising longevity, raised on one side with a sinuous chilong dragon gazing at a flaming pearl, of translucent apple green colour with splashes of emerald green; and the third of flattened ovoid form, with shades of russet, taupe and intense emerald green, carved with coins and one crouching fu lion and another playing a brocade ball; completed by two jadeite stoppers of russet tone and a rock crystal stopper. Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Jade testing certificates, the jadeites are natural, A Jade. Please refer to the reports for details. The snuff bottles are of translucent clarity, the first one with patches of medium brownish red colour, with streaks of stronger brownish red, and deep emerald green. There are natural inclusions visible under close inspection. The second is of a deep celadon tone with streaks of deep green and yellowish orange patches. There are some natural whitish inclusions under close inspection. Both snuff bottles with a medium russet coloured jadeite stopper. The third is of light apple green colour with patches of brighter intense apple green. There are some natural white inclusions and dark spotty inclusions on one area which do not affect the overall fine appearance of the piece. Condition: In very good condition.
