Description
- STAR SAPPHIRE, DIAMOND, PLATINUM
Of girandole design, centring on an oval colour-changing star sapphire weighing 79.54 carats, within a stylised frame pavé-set with circular-cut diamonds, surmounted by a retractable pendant loop set with an inverted pear-shaped diamond, anchoring three oscillating pear-shaped diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 2.50 carats, mounted in platinum, removable brooch fitting.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to GRS report, the star sapphire is natural, of Ceylon origin, with no indications of thermal enhancement, showing a colour-changing feature of blue in daylight, to purple in incandescent light. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the cabochon sapphire is of medium light saturation, displaying a moderate star effect and colour-changing phenomenon. There is a natural fingerprint inclusion to the bottom, not noticeable when worn. Diamonds are about H to I colours, VS to SI1 clarity.
Condition: Pendant loop is retractable, with removable brooch fitting, overall in good condition.
