Description

  • Diameter and thickness of hoops approximately 18.68 x 5.32mm.
Each set with highly translucent interlocking jadeite hoops of vivid emerald green colour, surmounted by an oval diamond weighing 1.01 and 1.03 carats, joined by brilliant-cut diamond clasps, mounted in 18 karat white gold.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the jadeite double-hoops are natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Two oval diamonds are D and E colours, VS1 and VVS1 clarity respectively. Other two pear-shaped diamonds are both E colour, VS1 and VS2 clarity respectively. Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, the jadeite double-hoops are of matching, highly translucent, strong emerald-green colour. Upon strong illumination, there are some natural clouds, not seen in normal lighting or when worn. The oval and pear-shaped diamonds have nice outline and good brilliance, very lively stones. Condition: Pair of classic double-hoop earrings, in mint condition.

Prospective purchasers are reminded that, unless the catalogue description specifically states that a stone is natural, we have assumed that some form of treatment may have been used and that such treatment may not be permanent. Our presale estimates reflect this assumption.
