Description
- SAPPHIRE, DIAMOND, PLATINUM
Centring on a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 33.43 carats, to a stylised shank decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to Gübelin report, the sapphire is natural, of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the sapphire shows a bright, strong blue colour, eye clean with slight velvety appearance and quite lively. Upon 10x loupe, it is clean and only minor zoning observed under the table from a particular position, generally not noticeable to naked eyes. Diamonds together weighing approximately 0.50 carat, are about H to I colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Vintage ring mount shows normal signs of wear to the metal, otherwise in very good condition.

Prospective purchasers are reminded that, unless the catalogue description specifically states that a stone is natural, we have assumed that some form of treatment may have been used and that such treatment may not be permanent. Our presale estimates reflect this assumption.
NOTWITHSTANDING THIS REPORT OR ANY DISCUSSIONS CONCERNING CONDITION OF A LOT, ALL LOTS ARE OFFERED AND SOLD "AS IS" IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONDITIONS OF SALE PRINTED IN THE CATALOGUE.
