The powder compact centring on a floral motif set with old-cut diamonds, amid a black enamel surround to a gold edge, opening to reveal a fitted mirror, suspended from a hoop with a chain, also supporting a similarly-set lipstick holder, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold, signed.
Condition
Condition: Normal abrasions and scratches to the metal, and pits to the enamel, mainly on the lipstick case, commensurate with age and not noticeable unless close check. Minor stains on the glass inside the compact case. Signed Cartier N.Y., the original fitted box is moderately worn. Overall in good condition.
