- AMETHYST, DIAMOND, YELLOW GOLD
The stylised brooch composed of circular-cut amethysts and brilliant-cut diamonds; and pair of matching ear clips of similar setting, clip fittings; the amethysts and diamonds altogether weighing approximately 11.00 and 5.80 carats respectively, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold. (2)
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the amethyst are of strong purple colour, very clean to naked eyes. Upon 10x loupe, a few amethyst may have natural fingerprint inclusions, not seen to naked eyes. Diamonds are about H to J colours, VS clarity. Both brooch and ear clips are signed "Mellerio", brooch numbered 2138 and ear clips numbered 472.
Condition: Signs of wear and abrasions to the metal, commensurate to use, overall in good condition.
