Description
Designed as a parrot perched on a branch, the head set with brilliant-cut diamonds, the body composed of cabochon rubies and emerald-set eye, and the wings and tail of textured gold, mounted in platinum and 18 karat yellow gold.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the cabochon rubies are of strong red colour, well matched, with typical inclusions visible upon 10x loupe, some are surface reaching. Diamonds are about H to I colours, lively stones. Stamped 750 for gold and Pt 950 for platinum.
Condition: This brooch is offered without reserve. Minor scratches and tarnish to the metal commensurate with age and normal wear. Overall, In good condition.
