Description
- Carving approximately 102.29 x 94.50 x 60.43mm.
Carved as an auspicious mythical beast hatched from an egg, signifying luck and fertiflity, of translucent yellowish brown colour with patches of light green and intense green colours.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the jadeite carving is natural, type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the jadeite carving is translucent, of bi-colour tone. The 'mythical beast' is of deep brownish yellow colour and the carved leaf in deep green tone suffused with patches of yellow, all against a celadon background.
Condition: Nice craftsmanship, clever use of different colour patches to highlight various objects, with fitted box, in excellent condition.
