  • Carving approximately 136.57 x 165.00 x 53.92mm.
The semi-translucent jadeite of light lavender tone with splashes of light green colour, carved as a laughing Buddha, holding a gold ingot 'yuan baos'(元寶)and a child, symbolising prosperity and fertility.


Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the jadeite carving is natural, type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the carved jadeite 'buddha' is translucent, of celadon tone suffused with light mauve patches. Upon close look, there are cloudy inclusions. Condition: Nice craftsmanship depicting a very happy and lively Buddha, with fitted box, in excellent condition.
