Description
Of stepped design, set with buff-topped calibré-cut sapphires, mounted in pink and yellow gold, length approximately 160mm, signed Chaumet and numbered, French assay and maker's marks.
Literature
'The return to yellow gold in the mid-1930s is illustrated with this bracelet which would have been worn to lunch or afternoon engagements. The stepped design introduces the Retro style which succeeded the flatter Art Deco geometric chain types'.

Condition
Stamped with French assay marks for gold, signed Chaumet and numbered 905. Sapphires well matched in colour, some typical crystal inclusions visible under close inspection, a few minor nicks. Some scratches and a few minor dents to the metal, commensurate with age and wear. In good condition.
