Diamond necklace, Van Cleef & Arpels and a sapphire and diamond pendant

The collar composed of three rows of brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, signed V.C.A and numbered, length approximately 430mm, separates into two bracelets measuring respectively 170mm each, suspending a detachable pendant of cluster design, centring on an oval sapphire weighing 17.83 carats bordered with brilliant-cut diamonds, the cluster may be worn as a ring, pendant and ring fitting unsigned.

Pendant stamped Pt 950 for platinum and unsigned. May be detached and worn as a ring, fitting included in the lot, unsigned. Each clasp to the necklace signed VCA, one numbered 54073, three numbered 54703. Sapphire with typical crystal inclusions, only visible with the aid of a 10x lens, minor nicks and abrasions. For further information on the stone, please refer to the report. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 50.00 carats in total, G-H colour, VS-SI clarity. Separates in two bracelets measuring respectively 170mm each, or in one bracelet measuring approximately 170mm and another approximately 200mm, or as a shorter necklace measuring approximately 410mm. Overall secure clasps, all with safety catches. Signs of normal wear to the metal of the necklace, less to the pendant. In good condition.
