Description
Set with a cabochon sapphire within a border of eighteen cushion-shaped diamonds, mounted in silver and gold, French assay marks and partially legible maker's marks.
Condition
Please refer to SSEF report for details on the sapphire. Hollow cabochon sapphire estimated to weigh approximately 15.00 carats, bright stone with medium colour saturation, clean to the naked eye with a few typical crystal inclusions, minor scratches to surface consistent with age and wear. Diamond estimated to weigh approximately 5.00 carats in total, generally J-L colour, SI-I clarity. Adapted from a larger piece of jewellery, one thread at the back, brooch fitting detachable. Scratches and tarnish to the metal. Overall in good condition.
