Description

Claw-set with an oval sapphire, flanked by cushion-shaped diamonds, mounted in platinum, size 50½, unsigned, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Stamped with French assay mark for platinum. The sapphire weighs 11.08 carats. For further information on the sapphire, please refer to the SSEF report. Good colour saturation with some typical crystal inclusions, minor nicks and abrasion around girdle and to some facet junctions. Diamonds bright and lively. Normals signs of wear to the metal, scratches consistent with age. In good condition.
