Description
Composed of four graduated rows of cultured pearls, to a two tone open work clasp set with brilliant- and single-cut diamonds, mounted in white and yellow gold, length of shortest row approximately 415mm, clasp signed Mario Buccellati.
Condition
Stamped 750 for gold, signed Mario Buccellati. Cultured pearls of creamy white body colour with rosé and green overtones. Some overgrowth marks and minor blemishes, overall good lustre. Diamonds bright and lively. May benefit to be restrung. Secure clasp with two safety catches. In good condition.

Princesss Margherita Ruspoli di Poggio Suasa (1870-1970) was the daughter of Prince Emanuele Ruspoli di Poggio Suasa, first mayor of Rome. She married Count Walfredo della Gheradesca in 1889 and she was First Lady in Waiting to the Italian Queen Elena di Savoia (1873-1952), wife of Vittorio Emanuele III.
