Description
Designed as a stylised foliate garland centring on an oval sapphire, millegrain-set with rose, circular- and single-cut diamonds, may be worn as a choker measuring approximately 117mm, or as two bracelets measuring respectively approximately 160 and 165mm, French import marks.
Condition
French import marks for gold and platinum. Engraved S 17.27 to the back, indicating the sapphire's stated weight. Please refer to the Gübelin report for further information on the sapphire. Medium strong colour saturation with some typical crystal inclusions noticeable to the naked eye but not distracting when worn. Minor abrasion to girdle. Total diamond weight estimated to be approximately 15.00 carats, for the most part H-J colour, VS-SI clarity (a few I), good brilliance. Secure clasp with safety catch. Some minor tarnish to metal mainly at the back. Signs of normal wear and scratches consistent with age. In good condition.
