Impressive Spinel and diamond ring

The octagonal step-cut red spinel to a brilliant-cut diamond frame, the shoulders set with baguette stones, mounted in platinum, size 54.

Stamped Pt 900 for platinum. Spinel measuring approximately 17.70 x 15.85 x 5.85mm, weighing approximately 16.00 carats. Crystal inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface reaching inclusions, minor nicks and abrasions visible under magnification, not when worn. For further information on the spinel, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 2.80 carats, G-H colour, VS-SI clarity. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
