Ruby and diamond demi-parure, Vourakis

Description

Comprising: a pair of ear clips each of radiating cluster design centring on oval rubies within a surround of brilliant-cut diamonds of various sizes, mounted in yellow gold, signed Vourakis and numbered, clip fittings, case,  together with a ring en suite, mounted in yellow gold size 56¾, unsigned, numbered, one small diamond deficient.

Condition

Ruby of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of jadeite or ruby into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Stamped 750 for gold, ear clips signed Vourakis, all numbered with the Greek letter Gamma and 73. Rubies pinkish red colour, well matched, with typical crystal inclusions (some reaching surface), visible to the naked eye. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 10.00 carats in total, H-I colour, VS-SI clarity, graded as far as yellow gold mounting permits. Minor scratches to the metal, consistent with normal wear. In good condition.
